Dear Veronica,
Would you say the eternal is a mostly solitary experience, or are our loved ones easily accessible? As a young child I had a vivid memory of being surrounded by darkness and silence and it was not a comforting feeling. At the time I worried that this was how the afterlife was.

You mentioned in one of the previous episode that Angels don’t have wings. I grew up thinking angels have wings, and it’s hard to break away from that idea, but I’m willing to grow.

Why not focus your next podcast on the theme of Christmas? I’ve listened to every one of your podcasts from the beginning, and between episodes 10 and 20 you offered us a lot of information about the life of Jesus and his family. You shared parts of scripture that were accurate (or not) and you described parts of Jesus’s life that were left out of our current editions of the Bible.
I found those episodes to be spiritually thought-provoking and very much related to our current life and times.
What more can you share with us???
Is it possible to slip for a few seconds into a parallel life? I was sitting in my family room and noticed that the kitchen light was on, a few feet away. My husband always turns off lights, never leaves one on unnecessarily. I was surprised the light was on, and got up to turn it off. After getting up, I noticed with shock that the kitchen light was no longer on! No one else was around, but my husband, who would have noticed that light on and never have left it on, was sitting at his computer with nary a concern. So for that one second or two did I slip into a life where the light was on! I have had one other incident where something minor was changed and later changed back???
Veronica, when a person dies, or leaves their body, what is it that changes to make their spirit leave? What causes our spirit to stay in our body to start with? I have always that each person has things in their head that make them different than others. Is that correct? I have always thought that it was like being in a bus or plane and having only certain windows that you can look out so that you can see different things than others. Is that right? Thank you for your wisdom.
