Jen Tadin Gallagher’s new President of Small Business Insurance… As I was talking to Jen, she mentioned some interesting things that small business owners might be interested in. She will absolutely speak to the the risks and opportunities for small businesses in 2020. Another hot topic in this space is the idea of a “hardening” insurance market (in some cases insurers are quadrupling rates or refusing to insure entities completely) and Jen has a unique perspective on this – in fact for small businesses, the market is rather flat. It might be an interesting question to pose to her. She can also end on/provide some everyday tips and action items for small businesses to reduce their risk – things they should be talking about with their insurers, employees, accountants, etc. I thought it would be nice to end on that as well.
